In de zomer van 2022 contacteerde Sientje van Spot workshops mij met de vraag of ik illustraties voor hen wou maken. We spraken af voor een koffietje en het klikte meteen. Voor de launch van Spot Workshops NL werkte Sientje samen met de creatieve beurs Creative Life in Utrecht. Op die manier kon ze Spot Workshops daar aan de man brengen.
Omdat Spot Workshops aanwezig ging zijn op Creative Life hadden ze natuurlijk ook een stand. Die moest uiteraard ook aangekleed worden. En daar kwam ik bij helpen. Spot Workshops had een concept uitgewerkt waarbij je op de grond een quiz met ja/nee-vragen kon doen en zo uiteindelijk bij je workshoptype uit kwam.
Het was de bedoeling dat elk workshoptype voorgesteld werd aan de hand van illustraties die op 4 grote panelen zouden gedrukt worden. Na de quiz kreeg je een pakketje met enkele kaartjes waarin uitgelegd werd wat jouw workshoptype inhoudt en welke workshops bij jou passen.
Er zijn 4 workshop types: the creative, the natural, the dreamer en the esthetic.
